The EKOFILTER plate filter press is designed to achieve the best results in industrial sludge dewatering. All filter presses are designed for HPT (High Pressure Technology), allowing operation at conventional filter press pressures of 5–7 bar as well as at high pressures approaching or exceeding 16–21 bar. This is made possible by advanced engineering, the specialist design of our machines and high-quality components, including high-pressure pumps, hydraulic power units and pistons, and an oversized structural frame.
Our filter presses are suitable for many industries, including mining, quarrying, gravel and sand extraction, stone processing, ceramics and glass. Our goal is to understand our customers' actual needs and achieve complete customer satisfaction. We therefore provide prompt after-sales support as well as pre-sales advice.
Filter presses for industrial sludge treatment
The plate filter press is designed for dewatering industrial sludge using HPT (High Pressure Technology). It is suitable for mining, quarries, gravel and sand pits, stonemasonry, ceramics and glassmaking.
Operating pressures are stated for a specific model with a confirmed data sheet.

Filter bags
Filter bags are made from monofilament fabric or needle-punched nonwoven material with excellent chemical stability and heat resistance. The surface is singed, calendered or laminated to prevent fibre shedding.

Trolley-mounted filtration system
The trolley-mounted filtration system consists of filters (bag or flow-through filters), a pump, a trolley and other components. The booster pump can be replaced with a diaphragm, centrifugal or rotary pump, among other options.

These filter cartridges (candle filters) use polypropylene fibres, offering broad chemical compatibility, high flow rates and high dirt-holding capacity.

EKOFILTER capsule filter

EKOFILTER yarn filter cartridges
Typical liquid flow rate at 23 °C • RP-series filter cartridges are made from 100% PP fibres with a graded pore structure. They offer high dirt-holding capacity, low pressure drop, high flow rates, good chemical compatibility, low fibre release and long service life.
EKOFILTER string-wound filter cartridge
WP-series filter cartridges are manufactured by continuous high-speed winding, producing a strong, integral cartridge with hundreds of channels that narrow from the surface towards the core. Looser outer layers and tighter inner layers provide depth filtration with high dirt-holding capacity and extremely low media migration. Various filter media and core configurations are available.
Sintered stainless steel filter cartridge
The sintered stainless steel filter cartridge consists of 5 layers and withstands high temperatures and pressures. Backwashing can restore performance and extend its service life. These cartridges are especially suitable for highly viscous process liquids.
Pleated stainless steel filter cartridge
Pleated stainless steel filter cartridges are made from sintered stainless steel. They provide absolute-rated filtration, high dirt-holding capacity and high flow rates.
EKOFILTER PE/PA filter cartridge
PE/PA filter cartridges are sintered from polyethylene powder, producing uniform pore sizes. They withstand high temperatures, strong acids, alkalis and most solvents, and offer good mechanical strength.
Titanium filter cartridges
Titanium filter cartridges are formed from titanium powder and sintered at high temperature. They can be used below 280 °C, including in corrosive media. Their advantages include uniform pore size distribution and easy regeneration.
EKOFILTER candle filter housings
Candle filter housings are made from 304/316L stainless steel and use PE/PA cartridges as the filter medium. Their small footprint makes them particularly suitable for liquid filtration in large water treatment plants and in chemical, pharmaceutical and food production.
